All of these incidents, in my opinion, lead me to believe that the Russians and other adversarial countries perceive the weaknesses projected by the US and our supposed "allies". It has been a gradual slip and slope towards these days. Hopefully we are not too late or too comfortable in our ways to change. Europe is in grave danger due to their energy situations and the propped up Euro which will tank as the world rushes back to the dollar when things heat up.

No matter who wins this election, I hope they (and us)have the cajones (sp) to deal with this situation before it gets worse. We forget the lessons of "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" and also “ trust, but verify”. The Gipper had it right all along.

Nice blog, nicer format! Keep it up Lynch!
